Fox Wood Beck 3 by Jane Stanbury
Some foam 100 meters up where the outfall pours in. 100 meters down where the beck goes into a culvert the water is really backed up for about 20 meters - appears to be still - and is quite blue in colour. Quite bad fly tipping today - two bin liners of picnic rubbish had been thrown down the bank from the car park and were on the bank

Dissolved oxygen not measured. Waterfall overflowing fast. Little wildlife or insects, swan family, a few mallards. Freshwater mussels. Phosphates 0.5 on Hanna meter (cf 0.15 on chemical test) Ammonia 0.01 x 1.214 = 0.00824 (cf Nitrates 0)
