re phosphates - using a new brand of test for the first time - colour seemed more yellow than anything else which didn't really match anything on the scale. recorded a 0. First time ever seeming water fleas in the sample cup. pond had very active insect life - many pond skaters, midges flying low over water. Lots of people out fishing - some local kids were at the test spot and reported seeing a dead fish away near the boathouse (same body of water but maybe 800 meters away).
