About this dataset
We have been using the Freshwater Watch testing kits for our first year - testing for nitrates and phosphates, and turbidity plus observational recordings. We bought conductivity meters and dissolved oxygen testing kits from Water Rangers which we have been using at some of our sites. To align our testing with nearby water testing groups at Meanwood and Gledhow Valley we are planning to use the Water Rangers testing kits adding in additional tests. Our protocol involves making sure we are properly trained, work in pairs and carry out verification tests on each site.
