Due to prolonged heavy rain, there were additional rivulets entering the lake running over muddy ground in several spots. Likely additional material being carried into the water from these. Conductivity score might be incorrect, batteries on meter were very low and screen barely visible. animals - mallards, and that fella with the black head and red break - moorhen? or coot??

Wyke Beck 2 by Hilary Asoko

There are fallen and cut tree branches in the beck a little upstream from the testing site. CS0 up stream from site not actively discharging. Water flow faster than usual, though not 'surging'. Water colour/clarity: recorded as clear but slightly less so than usual. Water in places looks a little sandy coloured and slightly cloudy--possibly because of turbulence and disturbed sediment?
