    Natural Wey River at Unstead close to bridge (Northside) by Trevor Murrells

    The river was at its highest level since I started testing. The water has come over the far(eastern) bank. Yesterday there was persistent rainfall for much of the day.

    Ock at Bargate Wood by Chris Ball

    Usual slight smell of sewage - likely from past rains overspill and inspection hatch leakages resulting upstream. Previously reported to Thames water numerous times and attended but one no sewerage blockage is found there is never any follow up action to fix the leaking inspection hatch

    Polsted Lane/Withies Lane stream by Trevor Murrells

    A fair bit of natural debris has started to collect. The exit point (from the meeting point of the two streams where I test) is clogging up. I noticed that the pond by The Withies Pubs has refilled. There is a pipe, at the test location, that in theory takes water down to the pond but I heard previously that this had become blocked. A passerby today said that there might be other ditches that feed into the pond.

    Outflow from GSTW into Wey Natural River: Trunley Heath Road by Trevor Murrells

    A small dead tree, covered with ivy, had fallen in front of the outflow. At the time of taking the sample water was surging from the pipe. After the surging had ceased there was some foam on the surface of the water. The sample was a mixture of pipe and river water.

    Polsted Lane/Withies Lane stream by Trevor Murrells

    A few dead branches to the side of the main channel on accumulated sand (bank of stream). The pipe that drains water to the pond near The Withies Pub still looks blocked.
