The United Kingdom assesses water quality through the Water Framework Directive (WFD) for ecological and chemical status, the Bathing Water Regulations 2013 for recreational water, and the UK Environment Agency for site-specific classifications. We use these standards on the Water Rangers platform to help interpret monitoring data collected at UK sites.
