    Kiwanis Boat Launch off Hwy 62 S of Madoc by Don Ross

    No rainfall in past 24 hours. Sunny and very windy with lots of choppiness on the water. Dock was swaying so much I had to sit down to balance.

    Only 1 mm rain in past 24 hours. Partly cloudy with moderate winds now. Water is fairly calm and very clear. Some weeds growing up from the bottom and small fish swimming about. No signs of birds around....lots of tourists though.

    South Bay Cres Public Boat Launch by Don Ross

    No rain in past 24 hours. Overcast now.....creek is very low and not moving at all. Very heavily weeded over. Can hear crickets and birds in the marshes. Didn’t do the Dissolved Oxygen test today.

    Little Bluff Conservation Area by Don Ross

    No rain past 24 hours. Overcast and moderate winds, but lake had some wave action happening. Green algae slime on the rocks under the water...shoreline is further out at this time than previously. DIdn’t do the Dissolved Oxygen test today.

    Has been raining and bit stormy over past 24 hours. Overcast now with medium winds and calm water. No signs of wildlife visible here today.

    No rain in past 24 hours. Sunny & humid with some clouds forming. Lots of small minnows in the water and some insects in the shoreline shrubbery.

    Larder Lake Marina by Don Ross

    No Rain in past 24 hours. Sunny, humid and few clouds forming. Medium winds with small ripples on the lake. Large flocks of geese and seagulls in the water and beach area. Fisherman on the marina dock and couple bringing in their pontoon boat to the dock so we helped them get it onto their trailer.

    Port Perry Marina near Palmer Park by Don Ross

    No rain past 24 hours. Sun setting, clear night with calm winds. Lots of ducks on the water and people fishing. Dead fish floating along side the dock. Very heavy weeds,and garbage in the water along the docks and shore. Spoke with a Mom & her young son who were interested in what I was doing while the father fished. Gave them card to direct them to Water Rangers site to learn more.

    Pt. Petre Provincial Wildlife Area by Don Ross

    No rain past 24 hours. Sunny , hot & humid and calm winds. Lake edge is much further out now. Monarch butterflies, water or grass snake along the rock shore, spiders and red ants.

    Cherry Valley Lions Memorial Park Boat Launch Dock by Heather Ross

    No Rainfall past 24 hours. Sunny, humid and calm winds. Lots of small fish swimming in the water by the dock. Monarch butterflies, red winged blackbirds, few fishing boats, water quite murky and weedy but bottom still visible.

    East Bayshore Waterfront Park and Herchimer Rd Boat Launch in Belleville by Don Ross

    Small amt of rain in past 24 hours.....less than 1 mm. Overcast/ partly sunny now with moderate winds. Lots of seagulls and cormorants on the water and rocks. Fishermen docking were interested in our testing and gave them a card to view site online & showed them our results today. They had caught a nice 3 lb walleye today and said overall a good summer for walleye fishing, many days coming home with their limits.

    Front St Farmer’s Market at Riverfront Square by Don Ross

    Small amt of rainfall in past 24 hrs....maybe about 1 mm but spitting lightly at the moment and overcast. Moderate winds and water is calm. No sign of any birds or wildlife at all. Garbage along the rocks beside the pathway that I put into the nearby bins.

    South side of the point on Eden Road/ Rideau Canal side of Sand Lake by Heather Ross

    Raining lightly as we tested. Overcast and calm winds. Lots of assorted birds...bluejays, chickadees, in the trees and a loon on the water. Chipmunks, squirrels and a black grass snake around the cottage. Saw 2 young deer along the road as we drove in and a pheasant. Weeds in the water along the shoreline.

    North side of the Point on Eden Road by Heather Ross

    Raining lightly as we tested. Overcast and calm winds. Saw 2 young deer feeding along the roadside and a pheasant as we drove into Eden Road area. Lots of chipmunks, squirrels, bluejays, chickadees & other birds in this area. Loon on the water calling. Large black grass snake beside the cottage. Small amount of green algae bloom & weeds in the water

    A lot of lillypads, green algae, birds singing, bubbles coming up from the bottom, saw lots of frogs, tall cat tails and dragon flies

    Nice day out and saw two ducks swimming with us. Also saw fisherman and people water skiing. Got rain yesterday afternoon
