Public River Access at Old Train Station Info Centre by Don Ross
No rainfall in past 24 hours. Overcast and windy now. Flock of Canada Geese on the river that flew away when I arrived and lots of crickets can be heard. Shoreline of the river is very far back from where it was in springtime during the floods when it had been right up to the cement piers in the photo.

South Knowlesville, New Brunswick by Don Ross
Nice day with bit of overcast skies and mild winds. So much beaver activity here with many trees partly chewed and ready to fall, with others down already and dam partially built, raising the water levels and creating a pond here where the brook runs. Didn't see any at this time and no other wildlife around.

Boat with father & sons heading out from the dock to fish....interested in what I was doing so chatted and gave them a WR card. They left behind an oil slick floating on the surface from starting their motor.....imagine how much gas & oil enter our waterways from all the motorized machines each and every day of the year, including winter with all the snow machines.
