Bridge over Black Creek on Old Milford Rd by Don Ross
Sunny, hot, humid and hazy summer day. No rain in past 24 hours. Some yellow moths, butterflies and dragonflies seen . Birds heard but not seen. Very low water and no flow on the creek.

Outlet River at Bridge on County Rd 18 by Don Ross
17 MM rainfall overnight...sorely needed! Sunny and hot today. Dragonflies busy and schools of minnows swimming around in the water here.

Black River marsh outlet from stream by Don Ross
Windy and overcast with storm clouds around that we hope bring us some badly needed rainfall . No rain in past 24 hours and has been another drought year so far for our region of PEC. Pair of swans feeding in the open water. Dragonflies, red-winged blackbirds and some songbirds around. Bullrushes and weeds are very thick and heavy coating of green algae on the surface.

Stream/falls at Cty Rd 10 near Cty Rd 13 by Don Ross
No water to test as the entire month since last tests done has been drought like. Creek is dry as a bone due to lack of rain.

Stream flowing under Old Milford rd over falls into Milford Millpond by Don Ross
No testing possible since last tests done since we’ve had very little rainfall in June and this stream and falls have been dried up all month.

No rain in past 24 hours. Overcast now with some heavy clouds forming. Dragonflies, mosquitoes, water bugs and assorted songbirds here.

Picton Harbour at Mouth of Marsh Creek by Don Ross
No rain in past 24 hours. Overcast now with some heavy clouds forming . Fountain turned off in the cove here. Some seagulls flying around. Lots of heavy weeds under the surface of the water.

Black River outflow to Lake Ontario by Deb Hudson
There is more algae on the river. There was a kayaker and someone canoeing. There were two groups of fishers. I spoke with one person about taking water samples and told him about the Water Rangers website. He told me he had caught a few perch earlier in the day that were too small to keep as well as a small gobi fish. Construction continues on the bridge during the week.

near Glenora, Prince Edward County by Don Ross
No rainfall in past 24 hours. Platform was closed to the public so took sample from usual spot beside it but unable to take depth from usual location on deck so used average since levels appear same as last month. No wildlife around that I could see.

Cherry Valley Lions Memorial Park Boat Launch Dock by Don Ross
No rain in past 24 hours. Saw schools of minnows in the water, dragonflies, waterbugs, red-winged blackbirds and other songbirds. Some algae clumps floating on the surface here and there.

East side of Hamlet of Milford K0K2P0 by Don Ross
Hazy, hot & humid day. No rain for weeks and the evidence shows in this stream which has barely any water in it now. Large family of ducks and ducklings scurried away into the bushes when I came along. Lots of mosquitoes here. Kids jumping off the bridge on other side of the road into the deep side of the millpond....a longstanding summer tradition here in Milford.

West end of Hamlet of Milford at furthest west end of Millpond by Don Ross
Very hot, hazy & humid with no wind today. Have had no rainfall at all for several weeks. Millpond showing signs of heavy weeds and algae. Big fish ( carp or sucker )jumping in the water catching bugs. Songbirds nearby and saw a pair of racoons along the road beside the pond....don’t normally see them during daytime.

Pt. Petre Provincial Wildlife Area by Don Ross
Has been super dry for the past few weeks with absolutely no rainfall. Very hot and humid day. Lots of people flocking to the beach area to cool off. Some seagull, butterflies and mosquitoes around.

South Bay Cres Public Boat Launch by Don Ross
No rain in past 24 hours. Sunny and windy today. Some water bugs , other insects and lots of songbirds and red winged blackbirds around. Water very sluggish and beginning to fill up with heavy weeds and green algae.
