    Partly cloudy and very windy. No rain in past 24 hours. Some turkey vultures along the shore off in the distance.

    Mostly sunny day with a few clouds and very windy. No rain in past 24 hours. Single swan swimming on the pond further up from here. Weedy at this end as usual.

    Public Boat Launch at Wellington Harbour on West Lake by Don Ross

    Hazy sky and calm winds today, with just a touch of rainfall in past 24 hours but lots over the past week. Many swans, ducks, canada geese, seagulls on the water and flying around….even a heron sitting on a rock and some cormorants too.

    Slightly overcast and calm day. Few small fish seen in the water near the dock.

    Prinyer’s Cove Park & Boat Launch by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy and windy with no rain in past 24 hours. No birds around at the moment. Spoke for a while with a man who was there swimming and was very keen on what we were doing. Gave him a WR card to visit the website and he was very appreciative of this sort of citizen science being done in so many places.

    Partly cloudy and windy day with no rain in past 24 hours. Pair of swans swimming in the harbour and come crows around. Lots of lily pads, bullrushes and weeds on both sides of the road.

    East Bayshore Waterfront Park and Herchimer Rd Boat Launch in Belleville by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy with dark skies showing rain coming soon. ( Arrived just after we did our test ) Some swans, Canada Geese and seagulls around….also a few hornets.

    Victoria Park & Harbour. Mouth of Moira River entering the Bay of Quinte by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy with dark storm clouds brewing, and quite windy. Few MM rain in past 24 hours. Some Canada Geese and seagulls around. Saw a few dead minnows on the bottom of the river when I got the water sample. Lots of heavy weeds and lily pads on and below the water surface.

    First Bridge on County Rd 28 by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy with storm clouds gathering and windy. Some rain ….a few Mm ….in past 24 hours. Grey Heron that we see here often sitting on a rock or log in an open part of the marsh and a black water snake seen along the edge. Most of the marsh covered heavily with green algae, lily pads and weeds. No current or flow in the water.

    near Glenora, Prince Edward County by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy and quite windy day. No rainfall in past 24 hours. No wildlife around….just tourists and visitors to the park. Platform where we used to measure water depth from has been closed for the past year or so for repairs but is now open again so measured from there again instead of just from the shoreline.

    Little Bluff Conservation Area by Don Ross

    About 18 MM rainfall coming in past 24 hours, 14 of which came in 30 mins during heavy thunderstorm activity this morning. Just spitting rain lightly now, but windy and dark storm clouds around. No signs of wildlife here today….just a few folks along the beach with a dog. Lake is strangely calm in spite of gusty winds.

    South Bay Cres Public Boat Launch by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy with sunny breaks and gusty winds. About 18 Mm rainfall in past 24 hours with thunderstorm activity…dumped 14 Mm within 30 mins this morning! Some small green frogs hopping around….tons of lily pads and very heavily weeded and murky water. So low that only kayaks & canoes can be launched from here now I would think.
