    Sunny & calm day with just a few clouds. Fishing boat heading out on the lake, otherwise no other activity and no signs of any wildlife.

    Overcast and calm day with just a small bit of rain over past 24 hrs. No wildlife here this time, just the usual green algae bloom on the water on both sides of the bridge. Bag of garbage left by someone alongside the road here.

    Overcast and calm day with just a small bit of rainfall in past 24 hrs. Seagulls, ducks, swans, cormorants, herons and Canada Geese on the lake .

    Prince Edward Point by Don Ross

    Didn’t test here today as the lake is over the edge of the limestone ledges and too difficult to access. Set up a new observation spot in the Harbour instead as will be much easier to test there on regular basis.

    Long Point Harbour by Don Ross

    Sunny with just s few high wispy clouds and moderately windy. No rain in past 24 hours. Turtle jumped off pier into the water when I lowered the secchi disc, otherwise no wildlife seen, but always birds around here at the point.

    Overcast with some light spitting rain off & on, with moderate winds. Have had over 6MM rain fall in past 24 hrs. No signs of any wildlife here today.

    South Bay Cres Public Boat Launch by Don Ross

    Overcast and raining steadily all day, with a few more MM having come overnight. Flock of Canada Geese flew overhead. Lots of weeks and lily pads with very low water level making boat launching nearly impossible, other than canoes & kayaks.

    Overcast with moderate winds gusting…no rain in past 24 hrs. A few small winter birds around and some crows and hornets, otherwise quiet today.

    Picton Harbour at Mouth of Marsh Creek by Don Ross

    Overcast with moderate winds and no rainfall in past 24 hours. Some ducks swimming around and seagulls in the air as well as some hornets buzzing around us. Charter fisherman I spoke with here wasn’t very happy about not catching a single fish in 2 days! Asked him if he’s seen or caught any Gobi fish that I’ve heard from others are in Lake Ontario around us now…he hadn’t…..but if fishing is getting more difficult on the lake this could be a sign of their impacts?

    Smiths Bay by Don Ross

    Sunny day with just a few clouds and calm winds. No rain in past 24 hours. Single fisherman at the end of the dock hoping to catch bass, pike, pickerel or whatever he might find in season. Few squirrels chattering away in the trees and the odd hornet flying around dopely.

    Sunny with some clouds forming and quite calm winds. No rain in past 24 hours. Lily pads and many small minnows seen in the water where we test.

    Cherry Valley Lions Memorial Park Boat Launch Dock by Don Ross

    Mostly Sunny and very windy day with more clouds forming. No rain in past 24 hours. Just a few small birds flew by…otherwise not much stirring here today. Lots of green algae and scummy stuff floating on the surface of the water.
