near Glenora, Prince Edward County by Don Ross
Overcast with heavy clouds and sun poking through once in a while. Not much more than 1 MM rain in past 24 hours. Lots of minnows and small fish swimming in the water around the deck. Also saw some wasps around. Spoke with a couple on the deck who asked about the testing I was doing so gave them my Water Rangers chat and left a card with them to go to the site sometime. They thanked me for doing this work, as have many folks I talk with.

Smiths Bay by Don Ross
Overcast, heavy sky that just sprinkled a few drops of rain as I left. Only 1 MM rain in past 24 hours. Lots of seagulls around.

Picton Harbour at Mouth of Marsh Creek by Don Ross
Partly cloudy and very wind day, with no rain in past 24 hours. Just a few seagulls around. Lots of heavy weeds and green algae all over the part of the harbour where the water sits low and stagnant along the docks and walkway near the road……very disgusting looking.

Larder Lake Marina by Don Ross
Overcast and calm with heavy rainfall in past 24 hours. Loon parent with 2 offspring fishing near the marina….young ones just watching ( heads below the surface ) the parent diving for fish. Each time it popped up they’d go check to see if any fish caught . Didn’t seem interested or ready yet to do any diving under themselves yet, or maybe just being lazy & letting Mom or Dad do the work for them ? :)

Overcast sky and bit of wind creating some chop on the water. Young boy fishing off the dock with his family in their boat…he had some nibbles and a fish on the line at one point but he lost it.

Overcast and calm at this time. Lots of minnows and small fish seen in the water and birds can be heard in the trees. Some seagulls flying around over the water too.

Sunny day with no rain in past 24 hours. Some minnows and small fish in the water. Dragonflies around and some birds heard. People out on the river kayaking and canoeing.

Little Bluff Conservation Area by Don Ross
Overcast with storm clouds around the region and sun shining at times. Quite windy at times too. A few MM rain in past 24 hours but rain can be seen coming from these clouds in the distance. Pair of loons fishing here. Green algae and weeds caked onto the rocky shoreline in this location.
