    First Bridge on County Rd 28 by Don Ross

    Overcast with some rain off & on and about 8 Mm in the past 24 hrs. Flock of Canada Geese flew away from the water as I arrived. Some ducks and a single heron around. So much green algae on the surface and many spots showing the muddy bottoms as no water there now. Conductivity reading was sky high and barely any Dissolved Oxygen in the water….not healthy signs!

    Mostly sunny day and mild winds. Small amt of rain in past 24 hrs. Lots of Canada Geese in the bay and in the air, along with a few swans. Could hear lots of crickets in the marshes. Lots of water lilies and bullrushes.

    Centennial Park in Town of Deseronto by Heather Ross

    Overcast with off & on light rain during the morning, calm water surface and just a few MM rain in past 24 hours. Seagulls around and 2 dead fish floating in the water amongst the weeds along the dock area. Shoreline covered with brown dried up weeds and algae, as well as lots of heavy weeds and green algae. Shoreline out much further than usual.

    Totally overcast today with a few MM rainfall in past 24 hours. Crickets heard and flocks of seagulls flying overhead. Water level is extremely low , and full of heavy weeds and green algae on the surface and rocks along the shore that normally are submerged.

    First Bridge on County Rd 28 by Don Ross

    Partly cloudy with no rain in past 24 hours. Heavy weeds, lily pads and green algae everywhere on the water surface, which is so low in parts that the bottom muck is visible. Swans in one area where the water is more open, Some ducks and songbirds in the air. Dead cormorant laying in the middle of the road at this bridge. Small bugs seen in the water sample container.

    East Bayshore Waterfront Park and Herchimer Rd Boat Launch in Belleville by Don Ross

    Mostly sunny with some clouds around and no rain in past 24 hours. Swans, Canada Geese, cormorants and seagulls seen on the lake and in the air. Green algae floating on the surface. Spoke with some boaters/fishermen and a jet skier about our Water Rangers testing and gave them some info to follow up on the website if they wish. Comments about the low lake levels this year ....the boater had hit a rock that was usually never an issue before.
