Sunny clear sky with no rain in past 24 hours. Could hear lots of songbirds and the waterfalls nearby.

Little Bluff Conservation Area by Don Ross
Overcast with few sunny breaks and just .6 MM rain in past 3 days. Some people along the shore and a dog swimming. Black flies and lake bugs around….no birds today. Purple Loosestrife ( I think ) is along the shore and along the trail down to the beach area.

Overcast with small amt of rain this morning. Saw a grackle and some black flies with songbirds heard in the distance.

Woodstock by Heather Ross
Sunny with some thin cloud formation and moderately windy. Swallows, ravens, songbirds, pigeons, large grey crow-like bird, and bumblebees seen here now. Young fisherman casting from shore for bass and perch, & caught a nice 3 lb bass while we were here then released it. Gave him a WR card to learn more about it as he fishes other areas too. Some fishing boats out on the river too.

Coldstream near Hamilton Brook Junction by Don Ross
Sunny and calm day with no rain in past 24 hours and very little this spring so far. Saw a moose grazing in the farm field just 5 mins cycling from here to the east. Water bugs on the water and songbirds heard in the woods.

Mostly sunny and windy day. Rain in past 24 hours. River flowing rapidly. Summer dock isn’t in place yet. 3 young boys fishing for bass along the shore and one came over to ask about the testing we were doing so had a nice chat & he helped out a bit. Give him some WR cards for him and his friends to learn more about it online.

Public River Access at Old Train Station Info Centre by Don Ross
Overcast and lightly raining most of the morning and now. Some mallard ducks, red-winged blackbirds and songbirds around. Water flowing rapidly with bits of ice and foam atop it. Water right up to the edge of the parking area.

Long Point Harbour by Don Ross
Sunny and very windy day, making it a cool bike ride. No rain in past 24 hours. No birds visible but some songbirds in the distance could be heard. Clouds of lake bugs here & there along the route here from Milford.
