Round Meadow Lake by Jane Barnett

This lake is still primarily ice covered, even with above freezing temperatures during this past week. I tested the small amount of water at the edge of the lake. The ppm was very low, and I've seen this before when the lake is mostly ice. I assume I'm testing mostly melted snow or rain on top, and not really the lake.

Ferson Creek at Randall Road bike trail bridge by Lisa O'Brien

Unusual weather for February. Coming out of over 20 days below freezing, many days in single digits and subzero wind chills. This week has been sunny/partly sunny and highs in the 50-60s. Creek was free flowing, but still had ice patches on it. There are 2 beaver dams upstream and a large debris blockage (not new). Note this location is farther upstream the previous locations at the bike bridge. Noted to coordinator at beginning of testing.
