    Drake St. Park by Community Volunteers

    No Pedestrian walk way from bus stop. It is so steep and easily slippery, also surrounded by long grass and surrounded by bush and trees. I see maple trees, long grown grass which forms bush and also lot of firms and Squirrels.

    Upper Carp River at Creek Rd/Third Line W by Community Volunteers

    Boulders are uneven; watch your footing. Though the water level is low, recommended to wear boots at this location. Lots of fish are observed here. This is the first time of this season to observe fish here.

    East Davignon Creek Allens Side (N of 2nd Ln W) by Community Volunteers

    Lots of overgrown vegetation; dress accordingly. Boulders are uneven and lots of mosquitoes at the location. Dead fish which was observed during the last monitoring was gone. Lots of fish were observed at the location, and I haven't seen this many before at this location.

    Root River Old Garden River by Community Volunteers

    The rocks are uneven on the walk down the hill to the shoreline. Grassess have grown that have made it difficult to see where to safely put feet as walking down. Be careful. There was fishing line found once again. The river was barely moving but can be seen with flow upstream and just below the sampling location. There was some fish fry present, approx. 8-10. There was iron oxidizing bacteria on the right bank in two areas showing orange and red hues leaching from the substrate. There was no wildlife seen. No birds.

    Cold Water Creek at Old Garden River Road by Community Volunteers

    The grass is very high, and is obstructing visibility for footing. There is holes and rocks that can not be seen through grass. There could be wildlife hidden in the grass, beware. The grassess were high and some were going to seed. There is a mixture of wildflowers. There is aquatic vegatation present such as millifoil and algae. There is for-get -me -nots that are blooming on the shoreline. There are FMN that are fully submerged underwater and have grown underwater. The algae is dark green puck shaped and long strings that resemble cladaphoria. There was no wildlife present but there was a lot of traffic in this rural area for a Saturday morning.

    Crystal Creek Case Rd by Community Volunteers

    Be safe and prepared with tick ger to walk through the long grasses and meadow wildflowers. There is a large debris of natural nature, it is not related to beavers. The tree fell in the winter season and has been slowly moving closer to the culvert whenever there are large rainfall events. I have been monitoring the tree if it is to make its way to the culvert this site could become dangerous to sample. I will continue to monitor and give updates on the status of the monitoring site. There is no evidence of sea lampreys in the gravel sand bed. It has been 5 weeks since the sea lampreys were discovered at site #16. A robin(Turdus migratorius) was seen bathing in the creek.

    Easy access. Watch out for geese, they will get very close to you, expecting food. Geese, Ducks, Pigeons, Seagulls observed at the location

    Bear scat on the bank. Increased beaver activity. Fish fry/minnows along shoreline. Road crews have recently dumped all the sand and gravel collected from the highway bridge onto the path leading to the river (picture attached)

    Dacey Rd at St. Marys River by Community Volunteers

    Yard waste recently dumped at trailhead, including bags of lawn clippings and lilac branches. This waste blocks trail access on one side. Brown Algae observed at the location. Oily sheen was below sample site, green frog, mallard duck with 2 ducklings

    Very difficult to approach the monitoring location. Thick tree/vegetation. Recommended bug spray, and also recommended to monitor this location in the team.

    Steep slope to access the location. I was electrocuted while cleaning conductivity meter. some litter such as paper napkins and plastic cups.

    Big Carp River Herkimer Rd by Community Volunteers

    Do not walk on the bridge as it is crooked and closed. The monitoring location is on the right side of the bridge, which is upstream. Moderate vegetation with a semi-steep approach. Long pants are recommended, and bug spray as well. Lots of garbage around, including plastic and aluminum cans and some fishing lures.
