    Right bank is eroding. The water is clear for the most part, but algae found attached to a wooden stamp that has been in the water.

    Drake St. Park by Community Volunteers

    Lots of vegetation in the creek are dying and more area with the water is visible. Oily sheen observed upstream from the monitoring spot.

    Bellevue Park Topsail Island by Community Volunteers

    Lots of brown algae and foam observed at the shoreline. The water level is low and all the rocks which are usually stayed under the water are not in the water and are covered in some white colored coating.

    Still lots of foam observed upstream from the monitoring location, but mostly covered in leaves. Algae is growing more and clearly visible at the monitoring spot.

    Conductivity = 11 (μS/cm). Possible error. Raw value retained and flagged as SUSPECT" Large amounts of sand and dirt were deposited on the trail (truck load size). This could potentially run down slope to the river bringing sand/silt, increasing turbidity and increasing total dissolved solids. Pictures sent.
