Water is calm. Surface is clean. Significant singing of bullfrogs. Mosquitoes in full season. Wild orchids and flowering shrubs are in full bloom on Boom Island.

Mostly sunny with a light breeze. Kayakers were enjoying the water as well as a fisherman. There were seagulls and cormorants around.

The water is quiet, no motorized watercraft on the Ottawa River. Significant amount of pollen on the water surface. Red squirrel screaming on the island. Sea gulls flying down the Ottawa River.
