    Natchez Trace Overlook by Leigh Horn

    Gentle waves observed (mostly boat waves). About 30 boats by the testing site, celebrating the 4th of July. No wildlife observed. Human activities included swimming, boating, and picnicking. Some sediment in the water. No wind. No rain in the previous 24 hours.

    No geese were present at the collection site. Geese were to the far left of the collection site. The wind was strong. The water was choppy and flowing over the concrete barrier. No rain within 24 hours.

    Geese were in the water, on land, and on the concrete walkway. Geese droppings were everywhere. Bikes and joggers were also present and someone was operating a drone. The water was calm except for geese splashing in it. No rain in 24 hours.

    Water was calm, flat, with no wave action. Clear water along rock jetty. No wind. Rained within 24 hours; light rain while collecting samples. 2 dozen geese off shore.

    There were 73 geese in the exact location of our testing site. The water was very choppy and overflowing the concrete barrier. It rained earlier in the day (6/13).
