    The water was calm. Walkers with a dog and cyclists were on the trail. No evidence of geese was found near collection site. Someone was fishing to the left of the collection site.

    Water was calm with gentle waves. Geese were to the left of collection site. Two people were fishing to the left of the collection site. No rain within 24 hours.

    Natchez Trace Overlook by Leigh Horn

    No rainfall within 24 hours. Nice weather out during sampling this week. Evidence of old goose droppings on the shore. Four boats near sampling site with some people swimming near their boats. Trash on the shoreline. Three or four geese on opposite shoreline. Not very much wind; gentle waves.

    Old Trace Park by Sheila Kearney

    Joggers and walkers on path. Two boys were playing by the water and pushing rocks in the water. Only saw one Canada goose to the left of collection site. The grass had recently been cut and grass clipping were on the concrete near the water. Also saw sticks, pine cones, and other debris floating in the water. The water was calm with gentle waves. It rained within 24 hours of water sample collection.

    Natchez Trace Overlook by Leigh Horn

    Light rain while sampling. It had stormed very hard within a few hours of sampling and the day before. There were flood warnings around time of sampling. The water was high, sediment was stirred up, and there were choppy waves. No people near or on the water. No geese. Two herons sighted.

    At time of collection, the water was slightly choppy with gentle waves. There were geese to the left of the collection site, and evidence that geese had been present at our collection site. The rain started almost immediately after sample collection was completed.

    No rainfall in 24 hours. Water was slightly stirred up. Light choppy waves; windy. Three boats observed. A few geese seen up from the shore.

    Gentle waves observed (mostly boat waves). About 30 boats in the area by testing site, celebrating the 4th of July. No wind. Human activities included swimming, boating, and picnicking. No wildlife observed. Some sediment. No rain in the previous 24 hours.

    No geese were present at the collection site. Geese were to the far left of the collection site. The wind was strong. The water was choppy and flowing over the concrete barrier. No rain within 24 hours.

    Geese were in the water, on land, and on the concrete walkway. Geese droppings were everywhere. Bikes and joggers were also present and someone was operating a drone. The water was calm except for geese splashing in it. No rain in 24 hours.
