Stream high and fast following yesterday's heavy rain showers. Lots of birdlife on surrounding Lammas Lands - mallards, kestrel, little egret.

Regular spot for pheasants and geese Dead bird noted upstream in river- appeared to be a Canada Goose, trapped in branches/debris on a bend.

Riverfly testing produced 1 x gammarus (dead), 1 x caddis. The river is extremely silted, it appears to have washed in and settled from further upstream. There was a golf ball and rotting bottle on the upstream side of bridge.
