    Riverfly test on stream flowing into Ock,clear. Herons, fish in adjacent pond kept by resident. Stream flows through woodland originally from Hascombe to the Ock at Bargate wood. ///venue.tummy.pavilions Mini count: 5 x gammarus, 4 x caddis

    A new sand bank has been created presumably by the high waters before xmas. A small amount of scum caught in an eddie.

    Clear morning, tested at dawn. Strong current after heavy rains earlier in week. But still able to swim upriver a little way.
