    I wanted to get a baseline at all three of my spots today, but this one is still dry, It has been dry all month, so I thought I'd better grab the other two. I haven't seen this creek dry before, and it has been for at least two months.

    Lake Run at Nelson Lake in Dick Young Forest Preserve by Maureen Mrenna

    Stream is the slowest it has been. Grass growing over the edges Took second sample strip this month as first strip sat for over 20 minutes without turning black up top. Second one took long but did eventually turn black. Not cold enough for cold to be a factor.
