    Jefferson Ave Bridge, Naperville, West Branch DuPage River by Julie Kulak

    A few mallards by the bridge. I could hear red-winged blackbirds nearby, saw a flicker. The beaver cut down a sapling not far from the bridge along the riverwalk. On my walk home I went by the little pond off the riverwalk by the bridge and heard a northern leopard frog. It sounded cold!

    This quantab measurement seems a little odd to me, a little high. It's higher than the last measurement I took, and yet we haven't had any snow since then that would have added brine or salting the roads and sidewalks
