I took this water sample a little further downstream from Rainbow bridge because the area was too muddy / slippery next to the bridge. Todays sample was taken on Salt Creek but closer to Graue Mill.

Bayou Path Dr Stream in Atwater Subdivision by Lisa Hjorth
The wind gusts were quite strong from the NW causing vegetation and branches to collect around the yellow strainers at the inflow site. The water level in the pond was still high enough to get past the debris and flow to the output / test site. The air temperature had significant fluctuations the past days going from 18 degrees C to 1 degree with snow.

Still too cold for frogs or turtles. Some trash in water. Will bring a net next time to pick it out. Water level was normal and the current flow was significantly higher than I have seen all winter.

Veteran Acres - Sterne Woods (Oakwoods Lodge) by Far Syed
The weather was great around 75 degrees. There were geese on the other side, and the water was calming, but high chloride levels were still an issue!

The weather was so great at 74 degrees. The water was sparkling, and the geese were enjoying the nice breeze and water. It was a calming site, but the chloride was high as the geese were far away from it!
