Bubbles on top, not like foam, just on top of the water. The water level appears low otherwise looks the same as before. Steep slop upon entry.

Cold Water Creek at Old Garden River Road by Community Volunteers
Water seems to be smoothing out the bottom of the stream. Before when Beaver Dam was up, there was a noticeable drop in depth. It seems smoothed out now. The site is similar to before. No signs of beaver since the removal of the dam.

The site has lots of plant growth compared to the previous. The water definitely seems lower. Otherwise no visual changes to colour odour etc. Lots of overgrowth at the site, plants cover much more than previously. Potential hazard when walking to the site

No conductivity or water temperature measured because conductivity meter battery was dead- lots of grey alder(Alnus) along riparian. Hundreds of black fly swarms. New foliage- thick- make noise ensure BEAR NOT IN AREA- Spotted black bear just before bridge

Swarm of mosquitoes. Natural debris - decaying leaves & sticks at bottom. Oil like film on the surface around the edges of ditch. Mild odour but not sure what kind.

No signs pf Beaver movement. The water is flowing lower and faster than before it was dammed. Watchout for dip holes, tractor trailer made divots-slippery on rip rap.
