Observations

  • 20 December 2025

West Spillway Dock by Laura Luke

It was a sunny day that became windy while testing. People were out fishing and there was some foam at the water’s edge. There were winged insects floating in the water, washing up in the sand, and either walking around or flailing on their backs. I saw between 10 and 20 while testing. At this time, I’m not sure what they are, but I’ll add their name to the next observation notes if I find out!

West Spillway Dock by Laura Luke

There was a little rain while testing, and there weren’t as many people out as normal. The water had a film to it and smelled a bit musty. Dead fish and litter were on the edge of the water, and little fish swam by while I tested.
