Mostly sunny with some hazy clouds and no rain in past 24 hrs. No wildlife around to be seen in this heat other than mosquitoes and horseflies who were happily feasting on me.

First Bridge on County Rd 28 by Don Ross
Sunny with a few wispy clouds and no rain in past 24 hrs. Single swan on the pond not bothered at all me and our dog doing our testing nearby. So much weed growth and green algae bloom everywhere. Can hear lots of bullfrogs and toads croaking.

West end of Hamlet of Milford at furthest west end of Millpond by Heather Ross
Sunny day with some breeze and no rainfall for many weeks. Some green algae bloom and weeds on both side of the bridge. Songbirds, dragonflies and black & white moths around.

Black River outflow to Lake Ontario by Don Ross
Overcast hazy sky today with little wind and no rain for many weeks. Lots of green algae, weeds and water Lilly’s. Dragonflies, horseflies and songbirds around. Also saw a very unusual spotted turtle that I’ve never seen before sitting on a stick in the river.

Sunny calm day after smoky haze cleared overnight from forest fires in region. Some rain in past 24 hrs and a few young boys fishing off the bridge…gave them a WR card to check out the website later.
