    DuPage River Park - Small Pond - Site 2 by Leah Gladkowski

    Took sample at 2:25 pm. Water level of the pond was below the bank. Half the pond was frozen, causing me to have to sample on the opposite side of where I sampled previously. Some ducks were hanging out on the edge of the ice.

    Bright day overall. As the day progressed the southerly breeze turned more to the southwest and gained strength. Friday was somewhat colder and more overcast, though peeks of sun during the day. No precipitation for either day with 55 percent humidity.

    The water was mostly frozen throughout the entire waterway. I was able to get this sample by walking about 400 ft south of the mile marker where I normally sample.
