    Moved sampling site about 5m to the left (east) due to ice at original sampling site. Some sediment in water above ice, only a few cm above the ice could be collected for sampling.

    Springbrook Creek @ S Maple Ave, Itasca by Elizabeth Bolivar

    Had to collect on other-side of roadway under bridge due to ice. This was about 20ft from where i normally collect.

    Spring Brook Creek near Leverenz Rd. and Gateshead Dr. by Erin Bellassai

    Ice was entirely obscuring the area where I usually sample, so I had to go down the creek about 500 ft.

    Molitor Bridge at Indian Creek by Amanda Munoz

    About 2/3 of the width was iced over with water running quickly over the uniced rocky side part where I took the sample.

    Glen Crest Creek at Willowbrook Forest Preserve by Mark Thomas

    Glen Crest Creek was frozen over at the usual sampling location. An alternative sampling location 275 feet upstream was used for collection of the sample.

    Water level was high when creek froze, water is lower now. Ice on bank. Water was clear in color.

    Ice much thicker than Dec. Was able to find accessible spot with water flowing though. We've had several snow/ice days throughout the month so the results are not surprising
