The area being sampled is at the Keystone Landing in McHenry County Conservation District's Glacial Park Conservation Area, which is near the intersection of Keystone Road and Barnard Mill Road. The site offers safe and easy access to the Nippersink Creek. This location is downstream from the Wonder Lake dam, and it captures the water runoff from the town of Wonder Lake.
