  • 14 September 2018

Toronto (Rockcliffe Smythe ) by Jay Robertson

I might be doing something wrong with my conductivity tests. I did 5 test and it came back with a reading of around 1695. The water was twice the depth from the last time and very murky so I could not see any life in the water however 10 geese were swimming past me and feeding in the area. I would like to have someone double check my findings.

  • 8 September 2018

Toronto (Rockcliffe Smythe ) by Jay Robertson

Saw small fish swimming against the current.

  • 1 September 2018

    Uppsala, Sweden by Korice Moir

Old houseboats docked along side the river. Ducks swimming up to the dock checking things out. Who's this testing in our water? It was windy, and rained earlier in the day. Spotted a fish ladder further upstream. There's an election going on, so also noticed some green messaging on campaign signs. The most fun? Watching a young boy and his family 'fishing' in the river with a large magnet on a string, swinging it around like a lasso, and pulling out a rainbow coloured bicycle. Didn't expect that. :)

  • 30 August 2018

    Stockholm waterfront by Korice Moir

A few lily pads and reeds, and some murky water, along waterfront wall. Lots of ferry boats in Stockholm's harbour. People jumping in off the dock on small island nearby. Swimming in a large urban harbour can be (is being) done!
