Long Reach Rideau River by Linda Mellway McIntyre
Currently overcast and humid with high UV index. Thunderstorm and heavy rain during the night. Lots of seaweed and duckweed. Lilly pads beginning to break surface of the water. Water level about 1/2 meter below summer average. Great Blue Heron nesting. One meter in length Carp spawning.

Mill Creek at McInnes Ave, Kelowna, BC by Christine Mettler
- About one week after high waters receded. Water is much less turbid than when it was flowing high (there were fears of flooding toward the end of May/early June). - Heard a man warn two ladies walking their dogs to "be careful" with the dogs because he had just put down fertilizer adjacent to the creek - Ducks seemed to not enjoy my presence. I wonder if there was a close by nest? - Smelt dog poop close by
