    Water is higher than normal due to backwater flooding from confluence with Pearl River downstream. Lots of bubbles and foam on creek surface. Very little downstream current if at all due to backwater.

    Stream walk with Will McDearman. River moving swiftly. Bank sloughing on the East side of the river.

    River is high with flooding. Downstream Pearl stage gauge at Hwy 25-Lakeland Drive is 24.5' and, further downstream at "Jackson" gauge at Hwy 80 bridge is 19'. River is falling from a peak of 22.7' at the Hwy 80 USGS gauge on the prior Monday at 10 PM. The action stage is 24' and flood stage 28' at the Hwy 80 gauge.

    Red BAV Advisory-High levels of e coli were present. Water gage was 23 ft, which is 2 ft below flood level. Both D'lo and Merit Water Parks were closed to the public.
