    Ventured further upstream on Mimico Creek, north of the Gardiner. Not much life under the bridge. Lots of concrete. Loads of graffiti.

    Sunny afternoon along the Creek. Beautiful day for a walk along the Berry Road trail. Further north along the creek, stopped at an outfall to test the water.

    Surface bubbles, weed patches in shallow water. Surface pollen. Strong current when doing Secchi depth test. Sea gulls flying downstream on Ottawa River. Fish feeding on the surface insects. Blackflies galore. Significant shoreline damage along the Bonnechere River at McCreary's Point.

    Near Grasslands National Park, Saskatchewan by Korice Moir

    While walking down to the ravine, a deer plunged into the creek and ran through it to the other side. It surprised me as I didn't see it before it jumped in. After it got up onto the bank, it stopped and looked at me for a few seconds, then bounced away. It was wonderful!
