Overcast, still day. Secchi depth taken from barrier shown in second image. The soil was soft, runoff lines could be seen where water drains into the pond, as shown in the first image.

Petrie Island by Kathleen Murr
Ottawa Riverkeeper and the Canadian Wildlife Federation were releasing eels into the water as a part of their annual eel release. Many people hard at work on the shore. Overcast but fairly calm day. Photo was taken about 50 feet from the test site.
