    Perch Creek at Doyle Road by Couchiching Conservancy

    Water level has dropped, insect larvae and water striders still present, chickadees and sparrows calling, saw a turtle on County Road 41 on the way over.

    Grate has been replaced, no bird song this time but some insects, squirrels chattering in woods, saw some caddisfly larvae on stream bed.

    Chipmunks and chickadees calling, insect larvae clinging to stream bed, algae growth on rocks, water striders.

    Grate covering culvert has been removed, nearby landowner stopped to chat (wondered what we were doing), seagulls in the distance flying high.
