    Very cold at the site, performed testing in warm car. There was ice on the water, with plenty of open areas to collect a sample. Wet rope, used to haul water, froze to the bridge.

    Very cold today. Test strip was in sample for 10 minutes and black bar did not appear. Took sample with strip back to warm car, the top of the strip turned black within 5 minutes.
