About this dataset

The purpose of this dataset is to monitor the health of tributaries within the Thousand Islands Watershed Land Trust working area. Tributaries tested for this dataset will be specific to those found on properties owned/protected by the land trust. Results will also include those collected during educational events with school groups connected to the land trust.

Concerns
This data will contribute to multiple areas of our organization and interests. As a land trust, we are entrusted to protect properties and associated ecosystem health in perpetuity. The data will contribute to baseline monitoring and will be used to help alert us to any pollution events/issues that may need attention. The water rangers education test kit will also be used when school groups visit our Glen Elbe Learning Center.
