    Water a bit silty so did not appear clear in the stream. Collected water was quite clear. Have had quite a bit of rain in recent days

    Grey green tinge to water, especially from the Bourne Mill outflow (not collected as no way to collect safely), slight sewage smell all around. Water collected from the drainage channel which is linked to the sewage outflow. Water warmer than air temperature!

    There was some foam around the edges of the stream where the water slows, this is normal for the site, but is not extensive.
