    Water: clear, still, adequate depth; lots of water skimmers on the surface of the water; saw a frog plop into the water

    Water: clear, fairly still, adequate depth; slippery algae growing on rocks along shore; more litter than last week and garbage can overflowing; 8-10 herons fishing from shore and from sandbar/logs/large rocks in river; several fish jumping; 2 egrets at river - and numerous egrets and a few herons in the water (appears to be large ditch/creek adjacent to pelahatchie creek as you enter east spillway) and egrets also in trees

    Sample taken from downstream below road fill, current flowing thru roadfill culverts. Upstream above roadfill very muddy, but downstream below discharge from culverts much less muddy and turbid.
