Fannye Cook Natural Area by Will McDearman
very flow summer flow, very hot and dry, daily high temps last 2 weeks ~ 99 - 102, no rain. Weekly testing has not been possible since June because of trees down over road blocking access to creek. Trees blow down during severe thunderstorm with straight line winds. Testing site here at Hog Creek is downstream about 300 from original site, and located by new Natural Area footbridge over creek. Site is equivalent. This site by new bridge is more quickly accessible than historical test site, though accessibility can change quickly due to steep creek banks.
