Fast flow observed with foamy brown debris floating past occasionally. The water clarity is muddy with bottom still visible. Noticeable higher than usual water level, widening of water coarse and has straightened out the visible banks on both sides. Willow branches trailing in water - no leaves. Very little sound of nature (usually hear various birds) - today there was no chatter.

Outfall pipe above test location was flowing. Water depth low. Tested here as soon as could as police pumped water from model boating lake into R. Loddon in search of gun on 24th December. Also raised with EA who may have tested day after event. There was an attempt to refill the model boating lake with water from the Loddon but flow was too low!
