    Incredibly turbid water, clarity of water was very low. Ecoli count was at 457, as per Windsor Essex County Health unit. No blue green algae. Rainfall within the last 24 hours was between 3 and 5 inches. Lots of dead fish were washed to shore. Mayfly hatches were prolific. Bird count was low with herons, ring billed gulls, barn swallows and common terns.

    Lots of rainfall the past few days! Our testing location is underwater, but still accessible. While we wanted to do a DO test, the water that we could access was too shallow. The nearby boat launch is under water as well!

    The water is high from all the rain, really murky, and moving fast! There's barely room to set up and test. Did I mention all the mosquitoes? Still beautiful though. So much birdsong and a lovely breeze.
