    There’s some algae here! Photos attached. Someone on a environmental Facebook group posted a day or two ago about a black slick going through the Thames. No indication of it at this spot, but wanted to check on the O2 levels here just in case. Seems okay!

    Water was a bit higher than last time. Algae is growing on the exposed creek bed on the south side. A blue heron was standing in the water.

    The water was a little higher, maybe 18 inches of bottom now exposed. This was the first time I saw green algae growing on the exposed bottom. It was very thinly layered and only on the wet exposed bottom, no where else. I observed 4 carp swimming around. The biggest was about 2 and a half feet.
