Observations
-
18 July 2020
Jawbone's Bay by Paul Berube
Continues boat movement & ripple on water surface made it difficult obtaining a secchi reading Less pollen in suspense Winds at 14 to 21 KL/h. S.
-
17 July 2020
Lac Maganasipi near island by Keith Benard
Clearest greenest water I have ever seen! Water depth not recorded TDS and conductivity seem high compared to Kipawa. the values might actually be this high but its possible they were recorded in units other than microsiemmens/cm. Would be a good idea to check the units the meter is measuring in and or verify the values.

15 July 2020
Hunters Narrows by John Stark
No pollen particles in water, no sign of blue green algae. No fishing boats.
-

Turtle Chutes by John Stark
Water looks clear no suspended particles present at this location.
-
14 July 2020
Lac Maganasipi south east end by Keith Benard
Clearest greenest water I have ever seen! Site depth not recorded TDS and conductivity seem much higher than Kipawa. Possible these are actual values but it could be the units of measurement are off. Would be good to verify these values/meter units to be sure.
-
12 July 2020
Jawbone's Bay by Paul Berube
Mid to large waves made it difficult to keep the boat steady during Sacchi reading
-
8 July 2020
Turtle Camp (Turtle Point) by John Stark
Pollen particles present on water surface and suspended in water column. No boats on the lake. Observed one Loon.
-
8 July 2020
Hunters Narrows by John Stark
Pollen particles present at water surface and suspended in the water column. No boats. Fishing camps aren't that busy.

25 June 2020
Turtle Camp (Turtle Point) by John Stark
Pollen particles in water, clouds of pollen on shorelines. Recent rain and winds have helped to dissipate the pollen. Fishing boats now on lake as Quebec has allowed fishing camps to open with some restrictions.
-
25 June 2020
Hunters Narrows by John Stark
Pollen particles in lake water, and clouds of pollen on shoreline. The winds and heavy rains are helping to dissipate the pollen.
-
25 June 2020
Turtle Chutes by John Stark
Pollen has arrived and is covering the shoreline, lots of pollen suspended in the water.
-
21 June 2020
Jawbone's Bay by Paul Berube
Pollen on surface and some suspended winds at 18kl/h with gust of 27kl/waves made it difficult to settle secchi
-
17 June 2020
Turtle Chutes by John Stark
Starting to see pollen particles suspended in the water. 5 to 6 inch ripple on water's surface 3 loons observed water level higher than normal for June.
