Long Point Harbour by Heather Ross
Sunny windy day with a few mm rainfall in past 24 hrs. Loons nesting on sandbar in the harbour here then set off into the lake to go fishing. Canada Geese, hawks, swallows and songbirds around in the air and trees. Cluster/ Lake bugs too.

Overcast with some drizzling rain off and on…about 1 mm overnight. Some small bugs in the air and songbirds heard in the trees.

Sunny calm day with no rain in past 24 hrs. Some ducks on the lake and what looked like a weasel or otter swimming and fishing offshore…too far away to identify exactly.

Little Bluff Conservation Area by Heather Ross
Partly cloudy with around 3 to 4 mm rain in past 24 hrs. Loud chorus of frog peepers singing in the marshes and pond. Pair of swans on pond and another pair on lake. Ducks on both and about 6 loons swimming on lake near beach when we arrived.
