Outfall at RMI Site by Judith Howlett

Since last reported this outfall has been under TW 'SWOT' and work carried out on a problem in Holden Road. Results much improved especially Ammonia down from >9.99 to 0.42 ppm Phosphate down to 1.63. There has been a boom in the Brook to help with pollution, however since yesterday morning it has now been thrown into the Outfall along with a load of logs as photo depicts. TW informed

Folly pre confluence by Judith Howlett

Folly is barely flowing due to long period without rain and only a trickle running into the Dollis. Sample was from a pool of water, it seems likely looking at results misconnections in Southover or Chanctunbury. Phosphate > 2.50 flashing

Northwick park Brook(Wealdstone Brook?) by Angelique Soon

Phosphates were at a much lower level compared to the last test. There were concerns that the large Parkview housing development may have been polluting the brook. I wanted to take a sample further upstream of this to see how the samples compared but the river levels were unfortunately too low to take a sample. Vegetation debris is still being dumped next to the new Parkview housing bridge .I spoke to the Parkview gardener who happened to be conducting maintenance at this site and had thier van parked near this area about this issue. I think it probably unlikely that they are responsible for this debris. I observed that they had vegetation debris they had collected in large white bags in their van to be taken away for disposal.
