South of Victoria Street off Walter Bean trail, approx 60 ft South of railway bridge (Kitchener) by Alex Patterson
Signs of invasive species removal at shoreline. Cloudy water, possibly due to rain event July 10. Smells of algae, some duckweed noted at shoreline. Well worn sandy outcrop, popular with fishers. Mallard ducks present and osprey nest nearby. Erosion at bank. Damselflies and dragonflies; herons also noted. Weather: sunny, no wind.

Very cloudy water, likely due to heavy rain July 10th. Lily pads, turtles (id TBD - possibly map turtle), cattails, mink, various species of dragonfly, mosquitoes. Close to popular kayaking/canoeing put-in on Grand River. Weather: sunny, no wind.

Wheatley Harbor Beach by Danielle Robinson
Small fish present, flies, swallowtail Butterfly, monarch butterfly, birds( seagulls, black bird, red wing black bird, tree swollows) clean sandy beach with lots of stones and pebbles. Bamboo, driftwood, Boats and people in water. Eagle fell over. Milk weed, queen annes lace, willow tree.
