    Lac Leamy - Ouest - à côté des terrains de tennis by María Carrillo

    Lac Leamy is often used for recreational purpose. In the other side there is a public beach. And towards the center there are many algae. It is also the nutrition source for so ducks.

    Pier 4 - Leander Boat Club by Blaise Ross

    Taken alongside the boat docks (recreationally developed). The population of waterfowl and small fish seem to be more apparent, some medium-sized fish even being spotted close to shore. The water samples seem to be showing more consistent levels than when first starting in the sample area.

    Due to the rains of the last weekend the current is stronger and the water level increased. It is also more visible more trash in the land next to the water.

    People kayaking, people fishing, large snapping turtle spotted, frogs, small fish, large fish jumping, eagle flew over, black bird, yellow canary, red wing blackbird, grapevine, duck weed, lots of dragonflies & butterflies (white cabbage, monarch's, tiger butterfly), thistle, bumblebees. (Today was extra special because it is my daughters bday and she loves taking the test every week)

    No measurable rain in the past 48 hrs. Temperatures have been above 30 the last seven days. Water level and flow are down. Water striders, clams, crawfish and minnows are very active.

    No measurable rain in the past 48 hrs. Temperatures have been in the 30’s last 7 days. Water level and flow is down from previous week. Water appears clear to bottom depth of .75m. Noticeably more white bubbles flowing on the surface this morning. Crawfish and water striders are very active and abundant.

    J.A Pollock family Trailway at Stanley, Kitchener, Ontario (Victoria and Shirley st) by Alex Patterson

    3 turtles on rock, same location as last observation. Will bring telephoto camera next time to get positive id. Thermometer registering abnormally high despite long rest period in shade (55°), used Google Weather for air temp. Many small pond skaters, lily pads, heron in reservoir on other side of path. Location has been structurally modified with additional rocks and crushed gravel.
